I'm Stephanie!

Born a libra in a tiny Illinois town—no, not Chicago, and yes, the cornfield stereotypes are mostly true. 🌽  As the oldest of four, I was the natural organizer and helper, always trying to keep things running smoothly. But figuring out my own path? That was a different story.

When the college major didn’t come to me as easily as it did to my friends, I settled on nursing school. I genuinely enjoyed taking care of people, but I quickly realized it wasn’t my calling. I made a hard pivot and spent the next eight years at a tech start-up—a place I still hold close to my heart. It felt almost like having a big sister, guiding me as I grew up and learned more about the workplace and myself.

There was this guy on my team who was brilliant with Google Sheets. Watching him work with formulas was like seeing magic unfold. ✨ He’d teach me little tricks, and before long, I became the “spreadsheet girl” on the team. It gave me this weird little thrill, organizing data into something functional and beautiful.

By the time I hit my 30s, I was restless. I wanted something more—a job that made me feel excited to get out of bed. So, in 2022, I quit my job with no backup plan. I know that’s a privilege not everyone has, and I’m so grateful I was in a position to take that leap, but I’ll be honest—it was terrifying.

For months, I struggled. I sent out hundreds of applications, some with genuine excitement, others with a whisper (or more) of desperation. Nothing stuck. Then, a friend asked me to help her organize her business, and I said yes. I started working about 20 hours a month, building systems in Google Drive and experimenting with this new tool she introduced me to—Canva. (Seriously, how did I not know about Canva before? 🙈 .)

She referred me to another entrepreneur, and things started snowballing. I even took a course to sell spreadsheets on Etsy, and to my surprise, they started selling right away. Still, I kept telling myself, This isn’t a real job. It’s just a side hustle.

It took me over a year to finally see what everyone else had been telling me—I was already living my dream job. I’d convinced myself I wasn’t good enough, that it wasn’t possible to make a living doing something I loved. But once I let go of that limiting belief, everything shifted. I stopped applying for jobs, took on more clients, and made it official.

Now, I won’t pretend I have it all figured out. Most days, it still feels like I’m stumbling through the dark, stubbing my toe on every corner. But for the first time, I know I’m where I’m meant to be. For the first time, I feel genuinely passionate about my work. My clients inspire me daily, and their success feels like my own—something I’ve never experienced in a job before.

That passion shapes everything I create. Every spreadsheet, product, and tool is rooted in real-life experience—mine or my clients’. Each one was designed with a specific person and their unique challenges in mind. Because here’s the truth: while we all want a thriving business, the way we get there is as unique as we are. Different brains need different tools, and the best ones meet you exactly where you are.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or wondering if you’ll ever feel organized, I feel you--I’ve been there too. That feeling doesn’t have to be permanent. You can create systems that work for you, tools that empower you, and a rhythm that feels manageable. Let’s take it one step at a time—I’d love to be part of your journey to finding clarity and confidence again.

Here’s to figuring it out together.

🤍
